About the Center of Excellence
The
Centers of Excellence, in partnership with business and industry,
deliver regional workforce research customized for community college decision
making and resource development.
The
Central Region Center of Excellence is one of ten statewide Economic
and Workforce Development Initiatives funded by the California
Community Colleges Chancellor's Office to assist community colleges
in responding to emerging workforce needs. Through the collection of
primary and secondary research, GIS analysis, and industry validation
interviews, the COE compile industry profiles with occupational
trends, training, and skill requirements, and recommendations on how
regional community colleges can respond.
Regional
scan reports are disseminated via this bulletin. Access environmental
scan reports here.
