Tutoring Needs and Perceptions in Career Education: San Diego-Imperial

As efforts in Guided Pathways intensify, the San Diego-Imperial region requires a better understanding of the tutoring needs and perceptions of Career Technical Education or Career Education (CE) students. This research analyzes tutoring perceptions and practices across the region. This study considers input from focus groups and interviews; examines survey responses from students, tutors, and CE faculty and staff; and makes recommendations as to how the region can integrate tutoring to support students as part of the Guided Pathways.
