Wind Energy Webinar

In recent years, wind energy development in the U.S. has increased dramatically and the rapid growth has made it difficult to respond to the industry's employment needs. The Wind Energy Webinar discussion will preview the findings from the study, including: the status of California's wind industry in today's economy; employment projections for wind turbine technicians; the role of community colleges and existing curriculum; and criteria to consider for developing wind turbine technician programs.
