Alternative Transportation

Industry and Workforce Studies

Rising gas prices and heightened environmental awareness has led to a surge of interest in alternative fuels, alternative fuel vehicles, and advanced transportation systems throughout the United States.

In 2010, the Centers of Excellence launched a statewide effort to study the workforce needs of industries related to alternative fuel vehicles and advanced transportation systems. As the study progresses into 2011, new reports and related documents will be posted as they become available.
